Bollywood Distributor Eros Picks Up Stake In Singapore’s VOD Channel Anytime: International Bollywood (Indian) movies distributor Eros International has invested an undisclosed amount in Anytime, Singapore-based online and TV VOD service. Eros and Anytime will form a joint-venture, which will be majority owned by Eros, and will deliver Hollywood movies on-demand across digital platforms in India, both direct and through other operators.

In addition, the companies will develop a Bollywood VOD channel that will be delivered across Asia Pacific, a statement from the company said. Eros has one of the largest libraries of Bollywood movies. Some more details in the release here.
Also in India, movie studio Rajshri Media recently launched a bollywood portal which would directly compete with Eros's initiatives on the internet delivery of bollywood content.
