CCTV to air more US shows: Starting with Prison Break

From Shanghai Daily:

CCTV to air more US shows: Three Chinese television stations, including China Central Television, plan to air the popular American television show "Prison Break" this year.

The first season of the show, which revolves around a man who was sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit and the lengths his brother will go to save him, is already widely available on pirated DVDs around Shanghai and other large cities.

CCTV, which imported "Desperate Housewives" in 2005, plans to introduce more overseas TV shows this year. Zhejiang TV Station and Anhui TV Station are also picking up the popular show.
The show won't be aired until at least June, as it will take several months to dub it into Chinese.
