First Chinese Released Creative Commons Music Album
As mainland Creative Commons China launched back in March, Virtual China has reported that Mongo So has released the first Chinese music album under a Creative Commons License (CC Attribution Non-Commercial No Derivatives 2.5 Mainland China License). I love her voice, which sounds like a Chinese version of Bebel Gilberto, especially with the instrumentals. Kenyatta says her instrumentals sounds like one of Karen Mok's albums. My hypothesis is that since both artists are produced in Hong Kong, I am sure there is some incestuous sharing of sounds among producers.
